Alot of fans compare themselves to idols (trained professionals) and suffer a lot of anxiety. Although it’s great to have a role model or inspiration, it is important to develop your own style and be comfortable with yourself.
How is drinking water related to your interest in KPOP? Well for starters you SHOULD be drinking alot of water but it’s easy to get distracted and warped into the Narnia of Tumblr and sit there all day on the internet mindlessly browsing. If you choose to sit all day the least you could do is drink alot more water.
Not only that if you are dancing or singing to KPOP songs, both activities also require you to be hydrated so that you can perform to the best of your ability.
OK THIS IS SO SCARY.

When girls tell other girls to “have some self respect” in response to their sexual behaviour, do they realize that they’re not respecting themselves by implying that the more sex you have, the less valuable you are? That therefore your worth is in regards to your body and your body alone? I mean, if a woman is having lots of sex because she gets pleasure out of it but people ignore the fact that it is pleasurable (because allowing yourself to have pleasure, would be considered respectful towards yourself), than what is the purpose of sex? To satisfy someone else? So your body is only good for someone else’s pleasure? Your body is not your own? To truly respect yourself, you’d stop forcing other girls to behave a specific way because ultimately, it just comes full circle back to you; you’re placing unfair roles and expectations on yourself. If you respected yourself, why would you want to limit your own freedom?
Just wanted to point this out “When girls tell other girls to “have some self respect” in response to their sexual behaviour,”
In the context of the kpop fandom, how many female idols seem to be criticised, slut shammed or ‘bashed’ because of sexually suggestive choreography, costume or acting ?
Cough here’s a few examples.
Hyuna- Bubble Pop

Hyuna and JS - Trouble Maker

Rania - Dr Feel Good

Sistar19- Ma Boy body rolls, 4 minute’s split leg dance, BEG’s Sixth Sense Narsha’s animal like interpretative dance…..

In September of 2010, an reporter asked actress Kim Tae Hee, “Do you have any complexes?”, to which she replied, “Whenever I see an actress with a great body, I can feel my complexes. I envy people like Shin Min Ah and Lee Hyori. I drool over their sexy pictures, too.”
Singer Son Dambi was asked on August 2010, “You probably don’t have complexes, right?”She replied, “What? Of course I do. For me, flat feet is a worry. It’s hard because I get so tired easily. I wear high heels on stage, but they don’t fit. My feet are the sneaker and sandal type. Also, I have dark circles under my eyes. It’s really bad.”
In July of 2010, former singer/current actress Hwang Jung Eum was asked, “What is your complex?”She answered, “I worry that my chin is sharp. I wish it were rounder, but it’s too sharp. I heard this is what you call a ‘dog chin’.”
Just a few examples, plenty more out there!
